elementor-size-default\">A Hist\u00f3ria da Riosultravel<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-23dcded elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"23dcded\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Fundada em 1986, a Riosul \u2013 Viagens e Turismo Lda esteve sempre intimamente ligada \u00e0 Guaditur Lda, atividade de passeios mar\u00edtimos criada em 1977 por Renato Jos\u00e9 Rodrigues D&#8217;Oliveira, o principal acionista-gerente das duas empresas &#8216;irm\u00e3s&#8217;.<\/p><p>Com o objetivo de dar maior continuidade e apoio a um projeto, o pioneiro em Portugal iniciou a organiza\u00e7\u00e3o e opera\u00e7\u00e3o de passeios e aventuras ambientais (em ve\u00edculos todo-o-terreno e barco) no rio Guadiana e no interior do Algarve, oferecendo um produto diferente e alternativo ao turismo de praia no Algarve, que sempre foi popular.<\/p><p>Depois de visitar locais, conhecer pessoas e descobrir rotas tradicionais, o pioneiro encontrou a necessidade de transporte adequado para estes percursos e teve a ideia de circuitos de jipes Land Rover 4\u00d74.<\/p><p>Em 1991, as duas empresas colaboraram para lan\u00e7ar um novo tipo de produto, com enorme sucesso entre operadores nacionais e estrangeiros: os circuitos mistos (barco, jipe, bicicleta e caminhadas), especialmente na zona do rio Guadiana, onde as empresas t\u00eam a &#8220;Quinta do Rio&#8221;, uma propriedade com caracter\u00edsticas rurais que beneficiou da sua aquisi\u00e7\u00e3o e, ao longo dos anos, de numerosas obras de embelezamento.<\/p><p>Em 2003, para al\u00e9m dos j\u00e1 existentes, a Riosul lan\u00e7ou novos circuitos regulares e de incentivos, especialmente na zona do rio Guadiana e do Nordeste do Algarve.<\/p><p>Com uma frota de 10 jipes Land Rover e um barco com capacidade m\u00e1xima de 150 pessoas, a Riosul e a Guaditur dedicaram-se a promover um Portugal diferente, com rotas\/trilhos em v\u00e1rias partes do pa\u00eds, mas especialmente na zona do rio Guadiana, Alentejo e serra Ze wist alles te vertellen en het was een onvergetelijke ervaring. Het middag eten was ook lekker alleen voor ons iets te lang dradig met veel Portugese liederen die werden gezongen tijdens de lunch. It was more than expected. Checkin was simple; we were greated by a bright smile and warm welcome in three languages. We took a short walk to the docket from the centrally located company kiosk. If you have mobility issues the lower desk was very comfortable. The clouds were in and out for most of the day making anywhere on the top deck fine. On a hot summer I would suggest being early in line to sit under the canopy or in the lower deck (where the bar and tour guide was). The trip upriver was slow and plenty of sigt seeing. Take your pictures on the way up as the return trip is faster that the upriver. We arrived at the midway point in a little village on the rivers edge. For those that can walk the 1km there is a steep climb of about 75 meters. Once at the farm house there is a wonderful refreshing pool with a bar near for cooling off and enjoying the wait before the food is served. It is served family style with red and white wine on clay fired place settings. The soup was outstanding and a reminder of our grandparents cabbage soup. Then the music began as the staff sang old country songs with a little Fado thrown in. Then it was time to leave...a sad moment but a memorable ending to a great meal. The trip back to VRSA was another begining as the live music began in the lower deck and dancing ensued. A spontaneous conga line began and it was too soon to end that day as we docked in VRSA...the person who wrote and average review because there were a lot of grey haired people must have been too stuffy themselves. Our fourth time on the trip , we do outward by jeep (LROVER) and back by boat. Every trip has been very pleasant with informative guides, good simple food and wine (all you can eat\/drink) the entertainment buy drivers and guides is acceptable and if you are prepared to join in you\u2019ll enjoy it more. You have to rely on the weather, driver and other passengers to get full enjoyment. Our last trip had a couple of DE people who were not interested in listening to anyone other than themselves and drinking too much. Yes, it probably suits an older traveler but can be enjoyed by all. It\u2019s relatively expensive but I think value for money. We didn't see much wildlife outside of birds and a couple of donkeys in a field. The stop at the farm shop was nice but way too long. Everyone stood around for ages doing nothing. Only one guide showed their group the plants and trees so we tagged along. The top of the mountain was nice with the pool for half an hour before food was served. You could eat as much as you liked and the food was nice, and you f could have as much wine as you liked. The entertainment was local and a lot of fun which made the afternoon. The cruise return was basically an hour and a half water taxi with a crooner on a keyboard. He had a great voice but could really only do 60s. There were people on the boat who had done the morning cruise also and were very drunk which was unnerving for some who couldn't escape these individuals. I'm not sure the two sessions should have been mixed but they would have to lay on another boat which would increase the price. The whole trip filled the day and was fun. What's really impressive is that the drivers of the jeeps are also the cooks, the waiters, the singers and the entertainers. It is great value for money but could do with a couple of tweaks in timings to maximise pool time for the safari group. Al Pacino was our guide who went the extra mile with the off road safari. We loved the Riosultravel boat tour. The entire experience was so enjoyable and relaxing. The Quinta do Rio was beautiful, the entire team were excellent, and they provided wonderful music and singing during our lunch. J\u00e1 fizemos alguns cruzeiros em mar e no rio, e este em especial foi fant\u00e1stico. Ambiente familiar, uma vista excelente, algumas informa\u00e7\u00f5es sobre o trajecto ao longo do percurso, embarca\u00e7\u00e3o com wc e bastante boa. Uma peqyena visita guiada a Foz de Odeleite, que deu para ter mais conhecimento sobre esta terra e um almo\u00e7o bastante apetitoso, com produtos regionais. Certamente que este \u00e9 um dos passeios a repetir no futuro.
