Guadiana River Cruise
I booked an all day cruise on the Guadiana river with this company which i couldn’t recommend more. I was picked up in Monte Gordo and taken to Vila de Real de Santo Antonio to pick up the boat. We cruised up the river for a few hours with lots of information given by our beautiful multi linguistic guide( as well as plenty of attention from her too) pointing out the sights to the left(Portugal) and to the right (Spain). We arrived at a beautiful place called Odeleite where our tour continued with a guided walk around this small village of only 27 families and again given lots of interesting info about the area, its flora and fauna and people. We then arrived at an oasis- a self sufficient farm owned by the company where we were served an absolutely delicious, home produced meal with wine, music and entertainment before cruising back down the river to end our day. Thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience, the team were bright, entertaining, interesting and very playful too making the day one to remember. Excellent value for money and definitely a trip to remember! Thank you Riosultravel.
